These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the FBS4-ECU.com website and the repair services provided by Auto Electronix Repair Ltd ("we," "us," "our," "the Company").

By accessing our website or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of these Terms, you must not use our services.

We specialize in repair and programming services for Mercedes-Benz FBS4 electronic control units, including:

3.3 Postal Service Pricing

Return postage via Royal Mail Special Delivery is included in our postal repair service prices.

4. Postal Repair Service Process

4.1 Customer Responsibilities

When sending your ECU module to us, you must:

⚠️ Important: We are NOT responsible for units lost or damaged in transit to us. You must send items via tracked and insured postal service. We recommend Royal Mail Special Delivery.

4.2 Our Process

  1. We receive and inspect your unit (typically within 1 business day)
  2. Diagnostic assessment is performed
  3. If unit is repairable, work commences immediately
  4. If unit is unrepairable or requires additional work, we contact you
  5. Repaired unit is bench-tested and verified
  6. Unit is returned via Royal Mail Special Delivery (included in price)

4.3 Turnaround Times

Turnaround times are estimates and may be affected by parts availability, workload, or unit condition.

5. Mobile Service Terms

5.1 Service Area

Mobile services are available within approximately 200 miles of Basingstoke, including London, Hampshire, Surrey, Berkshire, and surrounding areas.

5.2 Appointments

Mobile service is by appointment only. Appointments must be confirmed at least 24 hours in advance.

5.3 Call-Out Fees

Call-out fees vary based on distance and will be quoted at the time of booking. Payment for call-out is required regardless of whether repair is completed.

5.4 Cancellation

Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours before the scheduled appointment. Late cancellations may incur a cancellation fee.

⚠️ Uncollected Items: Units not collected within 30 days of repair may incur storage fees of £10 per week. After 90 days, uncollected items may be disposed of.
